yeah i have a set of the metric Gearwrenches and my dad has a sae set...they seem to be very good quality.

 

Yes, they are great. Stubby, regular length and swivel head are all in my collection. As to who makes them, I do not know.

In Canada they can be found at Canadian Tire and I believe Sears. Either place has a lifetime waranty.

You can not use them to break a bolt or nut loose.

I use them at work, I got a set for Christmas last year, I thought Mmmmm Canuck tire these won't last long ! Havn't broken one yet. I wish I could get a set in 6 point.

 

They are made in Taiwan for a company called Danaher. Danaher gives a lifetime warranty on them, but it is a limited warranty. They won't cover abuse like Sears does on their Craftsman line of hand tools (no matter where you buy GearWrenches, you get the same warranty).

I have the flex head set and consider them indispensable. Though they are made in Taiwan, they seem to be made to very high standards. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a set.
