Is there any online shop that sells check valves for a 75 280z? I searched and saw a guy using a Volvo check valve, but he didn't write the part number.

I have a good used check valve I'd sell for $20-25 including shipping. I bought a new one for $48 + tax BUT it was not my problem. Comes with copper washer, mmm meaty. Norm K.

Believe me, I have tried to save money before buying USED or Autozone(Sore en sen) FPR before and they just get weak (low PSI on gauge) within a few months. Try and get one from Courtesy Nissan and they will last many years. Yeah, I am verified. Do the test with pinching pliers (long-nosed type vise-grips) and make sure a new check valve will do the trick for your car. "Good luck is for fisherman." Norm K.

It feels like the engine is flooding over night. It takes a few min to get it to start in the morning, and after it turns over I have to keep my foot heavy on the gas pedal and feather it for a few min. After that it runs awesome and idles good. It will fire up if only left off for a couple hours. I'm going to check the temp sensors and electrical contacts. I thought it might be a fuel pressure problem and not a flooding problem.

Like Tony D. say's,"These cars won't start well when the fuel pressure isn't RIGHT there and you have to crank your way to having fuel pressure." OK, it was a "rough quote." Norm K

Volvo (Bosch) check valve: 1 583 386 011
Buy it anywhere Bosch products are sold. Much cheaper than Nissan. Look at various sites on the net.

Nissan: 17014 N4225
Ridiculously expensive
