I have a little over 8000 miles on my 2003 350z and I have noticed a progressively louder noise roaring from the front end at different speeds and it ain't the engine! Most noticed at 20 miles an hour speed. Any help out there diagnosing the problem?

Try checking the inside tread of the front tires. Alot of people have complained about tire feathering. If the tread is choppey or there is uneven wear take the car back to the dealers. Hope things work out.

Thanks for the info on "feathering". Is this a correctable problem? is it a fix that is covered under warrenty, are the tires replaceable under warrenty?

Let me take this one.

Is it fixable? No one really knows.

Covered by warranty? Yes. Go directly to your dealer and call NNA and open a case file.

Tires replaceable under warranty? Yes but you may have a fight. Be firm!

Get your front end aligned and new tires. Then take it to an independent shop and check Nissans work. They do not seem to get it right on most cars.

Rinse lather and repeat :)

Oh yeah......Welcome to helllllllll!

NNA now serving number 36,122

I stumbled across it when I did a Yahoo! search for 350Z cars, and it came up. It is a great site because it gives you good information about the problem, some pictures of what to look for, and even contact information for lemon law attorneys in each state, many of whom will talk to you for free if Nissan starts being troublesome.

What a bunch of crap. Attorneys suck.

What a pit of vipers these parasites live in. Here's a website for you: whowantstoshootalawyer?.com

I just can't tell you how much these guys irritate the living __ out of me. What a drain on society. And all done with a wink wink, "Don't you want something for nothing? As long as we get our cut."

Aaarrrrrggghhh. I hate attorneys.

I'd guess someone who's totally fed up with NNA avoiding the problem.

I have often thought of bringing up www.DefectiveZ.org as an on-line database of 350Z problems.

I've had my Z 17 months. It has 10,500 miles and nine warrantable repairs (so far). I'm still waiting on front tire replacement.

72n03zs: Yeah, we attorneys don't like you much either. But guess who will be the first person you call when you get arrested, or you want a divorce, or someone royally screws you over and ignores your strongly-worded letter? Or when a car manufacturer puts out an apparently defective product, then attempts to shift the blame to yet another manufacturer who has a history of putting out defective products? Yet neither will remedy THEIR mistakes.

I have nothing to do with the website, I don't know who created it, and I don't know any of the attorneys on there, but it's nice to know that when no one else (like NNA or the BBB) will help me, there is another place that I can turn.

cara pound 72n03Z's into submission. He has a penchant for inserting himself into as many posts as he can. Kinda like he thinks he's Wyatt Earp and this site is his OK Corral.
Flame on Wyatt!!!
