I bot a jeep cherokee I replaced the seals on valve cover and found a bunch of carbon file build up. I removed as much as I could. I know there is stuff below and it is gonna be difficult to remove oil pan. SO I am thikinig of adding correct amount of oil less 1 qt then adding 2 qts of b 12 chem tool to disolve that stuff. Has any body done this.........dont want to take off oil pan . I woul let engine idle for 5 min and then drain

Just look at the local car parts shop for engine cleaners. I believe that 2 QUARTS of cleaner is way too much cleaner and idle speed won't circulate much. The Motor Flush, etc brands will say how much to use and how long to run it. Personally, I would not want to loosen all that stuff at once and have it try to flow through small oil passages... IMHO.

I would not use any of the engine flush products because I don't trust them to NOT throw the crud into the engine. Also, they can remove the lube from areas that need it, like the valves and the bearings. I would just do regular oil and filter changes.
