Anyone ever put a complete 83 280zx engine in 260z

I have a late 260 and was wondering if i can put a 83 280zx into my car. I want to put in all the the fuel injection and brains. Woul;d i gte more power using my e31 head with su's or use the 83 head with fuel injection. which would give my better power?

Supposedly to get real horses out of the E31 you should use the later, larger valves. So unless you do that its pretty much a wash. I know of the conversion for a 240, i suppose its not different. If you want real horsees you should buy a turbo motor though. I have a fresh L24 that runs great and i kick myself for not going to turbo fairly often!
