I am in need of a 73 240Z automatic flywheel, and I have noticed at the local you pick that there are allought of 81-84 Maximas that use the 2.4L motor just like the Z.Would the flywheel in the Maxima fit a 240Z auto?

No--Just the 81 and 82 Maxima with a 3-speed automatic. The 83-84 Maximas have a 4-speed automatic with Overdrive, and use a different Flexplate (it's a flex plate on an automatic, not a flywheel.)
You can use the flexplate out of ANY 240,260,280 OR 280ZX--all the flexplates are the same. The old 710 and 810's use the same plate, also. Actually ANY Inline 6 auto flexplate from a Nissan Product from 70-84 should work if it's a three-speed.
Not sure about the four-cylinders, I think they have a different bolt-pattern.

Nice to know. I just pulled a nice 83 280ZX flex plate off and had not taken the time to check out what other L6 engines it would fit, although I have heard that except for the 83 Turbo AT cars, all the Z Car AT units are interchangable from 71 to 83.

Anybody that wants this flex plate can have it for $10. + shipping.
