Please Help!!! I started the project today, of replacing my heater core on my 1985 Nissan 300zx non turbo. I am in, “way over my head now!” Im afraid I wont be able to get everthing back together correctly unless I have some help. I was following the tutorial at heater core replacing
And I feel basically lost now, even though ive basically got it all done. I just want someone to take over and finish the job in my garage. Please contact me if you live in the Houston area, (league city to be exact.) and you need some extra cash. Thanks, jonathan

Here is where im at now, on the project, I have yet to get to the heater core, its behind the ac box and im afraid to take anything else out.

Well you've done well so far, step back and relax. lol.

Download the full service manual from carfiche.com, you'll find a manual pertaining to your year.

From the looks of it, just remove the a/c box and there it will be.

Or perhaps xenox can share his thoughts on what he has missed in his guide.. Xenox , calling xenox, phones for you.

take out that big bar crossing the whole cabin. (DO NOT MOVE THE CAR WITH THIS BAR UNINSTALLED) then disconnect the hoses from the firewall pull out that white box. take apart the white box carefully. the heater core is inside it. take heater core out of the box. make sure new heater core has metal a metal end tank. put new heater core in box re-assemble box correctly. put white box back in car. connect hoses to heater core that is sticking through firewall. put bar that spans the dash back in. put dash back in. flush and fill the coolant system.
