Fellow Z Owners,
I have a problem. My 84 Z is out of the streets due to the wheels are locking up.
I nor my mechanic can figure out what the problem is. When you first drive it, it's OK, until the wheels get hot and then......the wheels lock. We have replaced the calibers, the master cylinder, the brakes, flushed the line and still it locks. Help
me guys, this car is not to be salvaged. The engine is perfect and it is well
on it's way to a great restoration.

I am not sure if it is your rear wheels or your front wheels or both but I had a problem where my rear wheels were locking up due to low fluid in the differential. It seemed that after I drove it a while the small amount of fluid that was left got flung around the differential by the gears and stuck to the walls leaving the gears dry and caused the rear wheels to lock up. Luckily I noticed it right off and quickly topped it off with hypoid fluid and have not had any problems since. I don't know if any of this information helps seeing as I don't know which wheels are locking up.

They were blead right and we have even tested it on the machine and nothingis
detected. I'm hurting bad on this one. I know it's not the transmission though.
