Since the NA 350Z will already outperform the TT z32 (same hp with less weight and no turbo lag) and given that fact that Nissan is trying to keep the z33 affordable, I don't think a TT version would be feasable. But if you added one moderate size turbo and boosted it to say, about 350hp, I think that would give you the best of both worlds. It would not add so much cost or weight, it would not have much turbo lag, and it would be really easy to mod.
I think that this would be perfect for an upscale version of the 350Z - they could package it with a stiff suspension, brembo brakes, special 18- or 19-inch wheels and call it the 350Z V-Spec or GTS or whatever and still keep the price well under $35k. mmmm... tasty... sign me up...
oh well, even if nissan was listening to my great ideas (ha ha ha), it wouldn't matter because I'm sure that all the decisions have already been made. All we can do now is wait, wait, wait until the Tokyo show...
