Hey, I just changed the spark plugs, wires, rotar, and distributor cap in my '76 Z. After that my car wouldn't fire. SO, I replaced the parts with the originals. Everything. And now it still doesn't fire. Tested for spark, its sparking, labeled the wires before I pulled them, pulled them one by one. Nothing works. Has anyone had this problem before and found a solution? If so please let me know. Thanks.

Even though you labeled the wires make sure you've got your firing order down. 1-5-3-6-2-4. Make 100% sure it's firing in that order. Did you check spark at the coil or the plug? If you didn't check it at a plug, make sure you do that next.

any chance you put the wires on the cap and then put the cap on...backwards?...just a thought.....maybe youre distributor was not tightened down and you accidentally moved it way over......maybe its a separate prob. like fuel...????...good luck
