Fusible Links

Is there a way to remove the fusible links easily. I can't get them. fried one and need to replace it.

when you remove the fusible link cover you see one end which is easy to unplug and the other end appears to disappear under a gray bracket. The bracket looking thing is plastic and will pry right out and then you can unplug the other end just like the first.

No, there isn't an easy way to do anything on these cars- that is why Z's are only entrusted to we Motorsport Heroes!
The saw tooth white/grey plastic piece that the wires disappear through will pry out. On my car, 84 NA, I had to squeeze the retaining clip and work the link body out with a pocket knife(prying it out a little at a time one each side). Remember that on a two wire link you have to short the knife connector slots on the bottom together with a piece of wire to be able to check continuity with a meter.
