Fuel problem...

I'm having a problem that I think is fuel related. When I give the car gas the idle drops and the engine just doesn't fire. However if I turn it off, and start it again, it revs fine, for about 5 seconds, then it seems like the fuel is cut off again. Anyone know what I should check? Thanks.

I would start at the fuel pressure regulator. See if it holds vaccuum

Use a fuel pressure gauge to check the pressure. About the same problem as I had. If pressure is low put reulator and pump in at the same time.

i had that prob on my Z, ended up being the CHTS. Fuel filter is a good candidate though. check the ECU codes.

I had the same problem and it was a bend riggid fuel line under the car
