Ok, quick question. I saw that Coz has floormats (OEM) for sale. His only have a Z on them (I have seen this elsewhere).

Mine on the other hand, have "300zx" written on them! Are they Aftermarket, or what?

I believe the floormats that you currently have are original. I seem to remember them coming with 300ZX embroidered on them, new.
The ones with the Silver Z on them, were either a later year OEM, or an OEM fit aftermarket.
I prefer the "Z" mats very clean looking.

The mats that say "300zx" on them only came in the 90 model. You can get an aftermarket one from www.ultimatez.com. They are 89.95 vs 54.99 for the regular mat. The mat that they sell looks to be of good quality. I may pic some up also. Hope this helps.

i don't know but they could have been an option on the early Z's, or on the early models standard, dunno. Mines a 92 and has the "Z".

I bought two sets from Ultimate Z about three to four years ago. One set has the UltimateZ logo (which is the one I have in the car) and the other has the 300ZX logo (which is what the car came with origionally). When I bought my Z it already had the newer "Z" logo mat so I never knew what happened with the origional. The Ultimate Z mats, however are pretty good quality but I think the OEM is slightly better (thicker with more of the non slip gripper things on the bottom). I can't complain about the Ultimate Z mats since they are still the ones I have using in the car for a number of years now and are holding up fine.

And i also forgot to mention that Nissan uses leftover parts they havent used from the previous year. I guess if your 91 was made in late 90 to early 91 then that could be the case. If that isn't the case then....
