CAR KEEPS DYING

I've been having trouble with my car dying after a minute of idle. it's a 91 2+2 5sp with 67000 miles. It will cranks right up but if you let it sit the rpms will dip under 1000 and slowly fall till the car cuts off. but it will always crank right back up. if you hit the gas will its falling it will jump back to life for a few more seconds but then will fall right back down till the car cuts off. I've had to keep reving the car at the lights so that it want cut off.

Sounds like your idle is set too low. Check to make sure your throttle plates are synchronized while your at it. This may also contribute to the problem.

I had the same problem w/ my 92 300zx tt. It was the knock sensor located
inside the intake manifold, it was cracked. So I had my mechanic fix it and
problem was solve. knock sensor $ 150-190. total labor and parts around $1000
