77 doors stuff in a 76

will 77 doors fit in a 76, i can't remember if they do or don't. if they don't will the 77 door trim panel fit on a 76 door?

also twhile the 77 seats are trimmed differently then the 76, they bolt to the floor the same, ie are interchangable, correct?

Why won't they fit? Is it because of the hardware (locks etc) attached to the shell? If one took all the hardware out of the '76 and put it on the '77 shell would they fit?
