I have an 83 zxt, and i need to know how to test the wastegate. It shows full boost, but my 81 zxt is definetly quicker. both stock. Fells like the wastegate isnt closing all the way, so its letting out boost that i could be using... Where is the wastegate located exactly? I was also thinking it could have something to do with the blow off valve, but it shows the same boost at the guage as my 81, but also i heard those guages are kinda bad. thanks in advance...

How is the catalytic converter? Not clogged any is it? Happened to me...

no, ive jsut had the exhaust replaced from the headers back... Also, ive had all new injectors, wires, plugs, and a bunch more but that has nothing to do with my problem.....
