I just picked up a nice low mileage 83 ZX turbo with P90a head. Before I remove the valve cover, is this the one with the hydraulically adjusted rocker lash? Car was manufactured 6/83 and has a true 69K on it.

The P90A is the hydraulic version. It came out in the last ~1/2 year of production.

i have 'em on my '82 zxt....of course it may well have been modified.....are you pretty sure of the 83....just curious......s

All documentation from the factory states that the P90A head was a midyear change to the '83 model.

They are MUCH quieter than the mechanical setup - all you hear is all of the injectors firing in batch (unless one or more lifters are bad).
