I've owned Z-cars since '74, but I'm new to weber carbs. This past weekend I installed a set of 40mm webers in my
'72 240z. They are out of sync, I need a starting point to adjust them. Right now they
foul the plugs,is hard to start and backfire thru the exhaust.These are the details:
Air corrector jet - 170
Emulsion tube - F11
Idling jet - 50F9
Main jet - 120
Pump jet - 40
Starter jet - 150-85F9
I have an F-54 block in the 240z with an early E-88 head,
ported and polished,Crane electronic ignition, Crane cam
(272-282 -.450), headers, 2.5 exhaust, '83 5 speed and 3.90 diff. Is this info. enough? Any ideas? Need your "weber expert" advice.
