Hey all,
Still working on 78 280Z. I took it to Goodyear tuesday, and put 4 new tires on it. Man, what a difference ! No more shimmy-shimmy-shake-shake. But while he was there the guy at GY told me I had a leaking wheel cylinder on passenger side. I can change this (I did the driver side wheel cyl about 3 weeks ago) but I took the lazy way out and told him to go ahead. Well... the cylinder he ordered isn't even close and the spare pads I gave him (which fit on other side) do not fit. Obviously (now) for some reason (Probably a wreck) the passenger side wheel has been changed and I don't have a clue with what. So... I can't get a wheel cylinder and when I change pads I'll have to buy 2 sets (if I can figure out what it is ). Do you guys have a clue what I should do? Should I try (via this forum) to get the whole (78) assembly and put it back or is there a way to determine what it is I have. How much would changing it out cost/involve.Thanks
ps szlash280Z78- I lost your email address. Thanks for info.
pss later I'll tell ya'll all the good things going on. The car is really coming along !!!

Go buy the RIGHT parts from a yard and fix it right, the way it should have been done. That way you and any other future owners won't have to deal with the headache everytime you need new friction... parts should be cheap, if not, get a hold of me later, I'm starting to part a '78.
