Ok, on the harness going into the ignition lock, theres some problems. The yellow wire was cut by the previous owner, because it was shorting out, so a new wire has been run to the starter from there...that seems alll good. When I manually apply power to the white w/black strip wire next to it, it turns the fuel pump on. It is my impression that this white w/blk stip wire is the one that should be hot at all times...Right? I'm thinking, from looking at the wireing diagram, that this white wire also goes to the fuel pump relay, but is not the trigger wire, it looks like its the wire that come in contant with the common terminal when the relay is energized. Does anyone else have any idea what might be going on here? of the purpose of each of these wires? Thanks again...
