Things that they sell at Grand Auto or Kragen's stop my exhaust leak? My gasket has a small hole and I was wondering if that stuff will stop it? If not what can I use to stop it w/o changing the gasket? And is there any kind of loss of power with exhaust leaks? Thanks.

The only way to really fix this leak is to replace the gasket.
You can try permatex ultra copper but really I wouldn't expect it to work without at least pulling the exhaust manifold loose so that you can get the sealer down in there.
By this point you're halfway to replacing the gasket anyway.

I wouldn't worry about power loss from an exhaust leak unless it's a turbo car.

You just made a great point! I have a turbo car with an exhaust leak(at the manifold). At the same time, I have a slight loss in power and a mysterious loss of gas milage. The leak will cause the exhaust the turbo needs to spool up to leak before it gets to the turbo. The leak is very noticable, so I imagine it would have a significant affect on it. Again, thanks for that comment, I never thought of that!

Now, I need to know, can this(the turbo not spooling) cause a loss of gas millage also?
