on a n\a m\t 280zx 1983

This may be a real stupid question but for the coil which wire goes on the +termanail is it the blue one or is it the black one with a white stripe I know black is usally negitive but i have coil issues thank for the help!!!!!

I believe it's the blue one for negative and the black and white one for the positive. It's weird. Had the same issue, because the color code for a black wire is usually negative, except this one has a white stripe on it. Double check it in the Haynes Book in the schematics area(in rear of the book).
