earlier I posted about using a different head off of a 280 turbo on my L24 block, All I want is to know what gasket do I use or will it even work? I thought this site had a lot of Z car brainiacs and they would know what I should do. Am I wrong? Are you guys just a bunch of talk and no real know how, I sure hope not.

P90 has more water passages but with 240 block, it doesn't matter because those get closed anyway. what your bore? 87mm bore gasket should work. I say Fel-pro. It would give you more compression.

On a forum like this, you take what you can get. If you are trying to do something non-standard with your Z, you are really in the wrong place. Try Hybrid-Z. They are into strange combinations.

You may have success with your technique of insult/shame elsewhere, but not here where people give their time freely, and share their hard earned wisdom. Not the best policy for people you are asking for help from, is it? (Uh, yeah, you can use the 240 head gasket. Really!)

I admit I'm not one of the engine brainiacs here, heck, I cheat, I go to a mechanic for even oil changes. However, I have seen some obviously learned and experienced guys here share their hard earned knowledge.

And if you would know the difference, then why don't you already know the answer to your question or why are you here asking?
