looking at the thermostat housing (you, standing at the driver fender) look at the thermostat housing. The single bullet connector (yellow wire) is the dash temp sending unit. Look below and to the left of the dash temp sending unit is the water temp sensor (to ecu). To the right is the thermotime. The water temp sensor and thermotime have FI style connectors, but the thermotime has a larger nut than the water temp sensor

what sending unit goes to the temp gauge in the dash on a 76 280z.where is it at on the engine.and where is the temp sensor thats for the ecu.thanks for the help.freez
