Some of you were interested in what Tim was charged for the engine change.
I only re-post this because I think most missed it in the last one.


Straight billing I would have charged the average customer $3350.00 for the entire job (cost of engine and tranny in there). I charged Tim $1650 for the entire job.

$1800 for the engine and tranny
$450 credit for his engine and tranny
$50 shop supplies
$200 for t-belt change.
$50 for rear diff bushings.
Labor for engine swap 0.00

I did this because of the special circumstances behind this job.

lol hitman, its a regular hourly deal. sure he smokes a cigarett and takes a sip of beer but no i dont think hes going to be a crook and charge you 1 hour labor cost for only 45 minutes of actual work. and its not chiltens manual labor quotes, he calculates how much actual time he spends.
