The gearbox in my 260Z is getting a bit old. I understand the synchros are fragile and very expensive to replace. I have been told that a 240K 5-speed and 280ZX 5-speed ‘bolt straight in’. Has anyone else made this substitution? Do they really bolt straight in? are there other gearboxes that can be swapped without modifications?
