The little compacitor that sits with the coil, has a part # of 47DQ-G_6 that grounds to bolt on ignition stem. Does it have to do with the radio? Is it a factory part or should any auto store have it? Hope this is isn't a dumb question.

Can't wait to get the book!

Thanks

That capacitor is used to filter high frequency spikes in your ignition system. It is a .47 microfarad (470 nanofarad) electrolytic capacitor rated at 150 volts. You can find them easily at Radio Shack although the temperature range may be "commercial" instead of "automotive". It is a polarized cap, unlike ceramic caps, so be sure to attach the negative side to the chassis screw. There is also a similar one on your alternator.
