I NEED NEW STRUTS I WANT THEM TO RIDE SMOOTH RATHER THAN HANDLE SHARP. MORE INTO COMFORT. LET ME KNOW

let me know too, i just want the cheapest i can get for now, my ride sucks. harsh and 120mph runs on a bridge are not fun when it darts on every bump. the left side dips more than the right on bumps and dips, so i got no clue which ones are the worst. the rear may be savageable though.

Just go with the standard Tokico blue non adjustables - they are high quality and very reasonable I think.

Monroe and Gabriel both make strut inserts that will be fairly close to stock.

If you have the stock springs, go with these. The Toc's work well with lowering springs, so they are probably a little stiffer than you want.

I have lowering springs and Toc's on a '78 and an '83 ZXT - the '83 Illuminas, the '78 Blues.

Ride is fine in both for lowered.

Stick with Oil Shocks.

If you do not want a "sharp" ride, stay away from the gas-filled Tokiko---even the non-adjustables are waaaaay stiffer than most "Racing" oil-filled non-gas filled shocks. Illuminas are even stiffer.
KYB isthe OEM, and they still make oil-filled shocks. Tokiko makes a good Oil-Filled shock, but I don't know if they market them here in the US...
