what is this you speak of? where are you actually putitng the welds and what parts are you welding? is it streetable? would'nt it make one wheel squeal while turning? that would be pretty dangerous on a high speed turn, to have one wheel lose traction.

This usually done on a race car in order to get all the power to the track...it prevents one wheel from spinning by locking the differential...and yes, it causes one wheel to scuff on turns...not too good for the street...

It only is uncomfortable at low speeds as far as the tires chirping and clunking while turning. When you get on it and power goes to both wheels it is a sweet thing, then you get hard on the brakes, turn into the corner, get back on it before the apex and powerslid under power to the edge of the pavement. High speed cornering you cannot feel any difference. Rebello racing welded mine.
