I have a 1977 280z I've replaced all the U-joint and rear diff bushings and balenced the tires but at 80 MPH and over there is still a vibration from the rear of my car!!


HELP!!!

You probably have a worn differential or bent half shafts(unbalanced maybe). I had this problem and it took me awhile to figure it out that it was a combination of both....kinda weird actually.

Wheel bearing.

If you get someone else to drive, and stick your head behind each seat, you can determine which side.
OR
You can also take the tire off. Put your hand on the protruding lugs, and push straight up. The bad wheel bearing will have a faint but distinct click.
Cheap to fix but sometimes hard to diagnose.
