I have a 84 nonturdo, auto. When driving at speeds above 60 or so, the car vibrates. It seem to be coming from under or from the rear of the car, it's not the front end. Anyone know what could be the issue here?
Thanks for your help.

The u-joints in the driveshaft sound like the culprit. I had the same problem and it turned out that the u-joints on the driveshaft were bad.

Since the u-joints are non-replaceable, you'll have to replace the whole driveshaft or take the existing one to a machine shop where they can redo your existing one with new greaseable u-joints.

start with something cheap, then work your way up. In my 86ZXT I had a bad vibration on the freeway coming from the rear, and it got worse when I laid into the gas more. I got a wheel balance and it fixed it right up. cheapest fixed turne out to bwe the right one
