(1) Is the intake valve to the right or left of the spark plug as one faces the
spark plugs on the passenger side of the 240 and 260Z, while the head
is in the car?

(2) In constructing an air induction system for the 240 and 260Z, is there a such
such a thing as allowing too much air entering the filter and then throught intakes. I would assume that the a/f mixture would need to be richened afterwards.
I am not speaking of ram air, just forced air through the grill to the filter?
Just something that I want to play with between my busy schedule! Again, thanks, Ernest, Las Vegas

The valve position relative to the plug is different depending on which cylinder. The plug is to the right of intake #6, #4, #2 and to the left of intake #1, #3, #5.

As far as too much air, there is no such thing. The more air you can get into the engine, the more power you can tune in. What is referred to as "ram air" is just as you describe - air from the high pressure area in front of the grill run into the intake. If you run lean as a result of "ram air", just adjust the jets or AFM to compensate.
