The engine is the GT-R RB26DETT. The car is a '79ZX. Some crazy cats over in Japan, were a little horsepower deprived one day, and decided to charge a Z. Too bad we can't buy the same motors here in the states. Otherwise, we might see this kind of drastic motor swap a little more often. The Honda guys can use the V-tec swap, and then some can even use the Integra Type motors, for higher rpm's. What are we left with? A V-8 motor swap. **** the luck. I've alwaays thought that there is a better way. Well, these guys found one for me.

You can buy the GT-R motor for under 6 grand. I put that into my 3.1, and money in the bank says the GT-R Z is faster than mine.

I'm trying to find as much info as possible right now, about his swap, so if anyone else knows of any info or pages on it, send me an e-mail. I dought it's something I'll do, but I want to know the facts.

Correction-'83ZXT not a '79ZX

This picture is of the '83 Turbo, that they did the swap with. I can't find the orginal '79ZX pictures that they did it too. I must have lost them between all of the disk transfering.
