Guys, I got some questions; I have a 82 280zx non turbo 2 seater that will crank but won start. I took the intake off in July to have it diped, because of carbon build up. I realized a cuple of weeks ago that when I had pulled the intake off I had my windows down. So like a moron I hoked the battery up and turned the juice on. I had screwdrivers clamped in the disconected fuel lines. Now when I try to start it she makes a funny clicking/huming noise w/a vibration emenating from behined the blower in a brass case against the passenger side wall(above the fuse box), is this a relay, or is it the fuel regulator? I m stumped!!
When I get this fixed I was going to install a 3 into 2 header from motorsport is there a cheaper place to get parts, they want 189.00 for it, what exhaust system offers the best performance? I have heard that 2 1/2 in pipes with a flow master is a good combo, but is somewhat lacking in power off the line. Any tid bits of info would be helpful, thanks!!
