You forgot to mention what year car you have. On the 75-78 280Z there are three different possiblities if both turn signals quit working.
1) The fuse - even if it looks good replace it and be sure.
2) The flasher - there are two separate flashers - one for your emergency flasher switch and a second one for your turn signal. If you lost both turn signals simultaneously and suddenly then this is the next most obvious cause.
3) The turn signal switch mechanism. If the first two are OK - go to a wrecking yard and find a car with a functional switch, remove it and install it on your car.
If you have even a Chilton's manual on your car these three checks are easy to do. The turn signals went out on my '77 ten days ago. In my case it was the fuse. I had a spare, installed it, and they are fine now. After that, though, I went to All Z Car Specialist in Fort Worth, TX and pulled the fuses out of the fuse boxes of two wrecks. Now I have a plethura of spare fuses. Also picked up a few other parts while I was at it.
Happy hunting.

If the other ideas don't help, try this. Open the steering column and unplug each harness junction and plug them back in. You can get bad connections in there and just unplugging and plugging them back will fix it. Mine killed all my lights except the headlights...
