Is it possible to put a turbo on a L28 with a 4 barrel conversion. (cartech manifold for carb).

Anything can be done if you have the know-how. But why mess with a turbo-carb setup when you can get a junkyard EFI turbo engine?

A guy in the MN Z club has one, but I have never seen it run.

They work, but not as well as a turboed FI motor, mainly because the carburator cant automatically control the fuel mixture, or the timing due to ping.

Rumor has it, on a turbo motor a little bit of ping can cause BIG problems REAL fast.

Also, you run into a little bit of the usual problems with a 4bbl on a L6.
