Hey has anyone attempted this before? What should I look out for? What are the draw backs? I have hears you can just slap a turbo set up on you're normal l28 engine and not have any problems, is this true? should I use a turbo engine and which is the best year. I have been into Z's for years, but never attempted this conversion. thanks for you're help

Chris, i don't know if you have any responses yet but the best answers are found in this page's archives and on the IZCC website. also local shops who have experience in this field(the shop that converted my '78 is Alamo Autosport) are the best. do not attempt a turbo on a NA motor. junkyard turbo motors are way too plentiful for that!!!

Chris:
I am having a rebuilt 83 turbo motor put into my '77. I also have a guy who realyy know his stuff and is fair. I am on the east coast. He is in Long Island N.Y. E-mail me if you want his name and number, you wont be sorry.
