will the Borg-Warner T-5 from a Turbo 300ZX bolt into a 74 260Z? I have seen Borg-Warner 5-speeds on 280ZX turbos are they the same as the 300ZX trans?

I was told the bellhoseing bolt pattern is different on V6 to L6, about a mo. ago when I asked.

Are you running a turbo engine? If not, you need a non-turbo tranny, otherwise you will find yourself racing through the gears without getting much speed.
