Sadly, the answer is no.
First turbo z was the 300zx.
The only turbo 280's you'll find are aftermarket.
(or people who have imported the stock parts)

Early 2001 I was looking at importing this car:

"83' 280zx turbo coup with 155,000 original miles, California convertible professionally built"

$2000 US asking price

I looked into it... Firstly it would have to go thru the Motor Vehicle Registry (or whatever it wants to be called in your state/territory), which wouldn't be too difficult, apart from the convertible modifications. Since they were done "professionally", one would hope it would be ok.

Next you would probably want to convert to RHD. Again, not that hard, if you have a parts car. I considered this idea again recently when thinking about getting a 10th Anniversary 280zx.

But, you're looking at about $2,285 US to get it shipped. So, that would have cost about $8500 Australian. Pretty prohibitive, once you look at converting to RHD, and I think there was a fee for registering it upon entry to the country or something too.
