cant figure out what is wrong with my 82 turbo.it revs up when in neutral just fine but when i put it in gear i have to barely press the gas pedal to go,but if i push down just slightly it wants to hesitate and starts to sputter and and knock through the intake a "dunk"noise .it seems to happen when the turbo starts to spool up.i just replaced the exspensive distributor with the same results.if i could understand what was wrong i would feel alot better.thanks

I had a similar problem with mine...turned out to be a bad coil....it wasn't giving enough voltage to the plugs so when I gave it very much gas it just flooded out. does your oil smell like gas?
