Has anyone here opened up a TPS to see what's malfunctioning inside and can walk me through it?

the throttle positioning sensor on our car uses two contacts, unlike most cars. when at idle, a contact completes a circuit that sends voltage to the ecu. the other does the same only it works under full throttle.

the other type relays a voltage signal at all throttle positions, from .0v(idle) to 5v(full throttle) normally. they are all potentiometers.. the tps is only 30 bucks.. if it is at fault by a new one, dont rig yours to work.

The only prices I've seen for oem are in the $130 range. Where'd you see them at $30?
