i just install my 4 piston toyota brake caliper on my 1970 240z and now my tires wont fit? what sizes of rims and wheels should install so my speed wont be off, should i get bigger sizes for the rear, any help would be greatful?
I have Panasport 16" wheels with 245-45-16 Kuhmo Victoracer tires. The wheel wells are maxed out but the Toyota calipers fit perfect. People with Toyota calipers can really maximize stopping power by using Porterfield AP-137 Pads. They make a street pad (AP-137S) or a racing only pad. I ran $25.00 Semi-metallic pads on toyota calipers and they faded to nothing after 5 laps on the racetrack. When doing 120MPH into turn 1 at Thunderhill that is not a good thing!!
