All things being equal I have been told that the in lines are better for torque. Don't know that to be a fact, just what I hear others say. John.

Inline 6 produces smooth torque than V6. It can depend though. twincam 24 valve V6 is real smooth too. Inline is know for a simular chracteristic of V12.
