First things to check are the EFI temp sensor connections and the fuel pressure.

Hey Guys,
My l28e is burning too rich, I havnt touched anything as yet in regards too, idling, air mixture, afm screw, nothings as yet.
Could you guys advise as to what to check and what needs to be adjusted.
Any advice welcome.

Back in the day we used to unhook the temp sensor and hook the two connectors in the harness together to see if that made a difference while running.
Tighten the helical spring in the AFM. NK..
