I have an '83 280ZXT, and currently run 205 60R15 tires. I've noticed that a number of you fine Z'ers use larger tires, such as a 225.

What problems, other than speedometer calibration, would I have using larger tires on my Z, and what size do you recommend?

I have an 82 280ZXT and I run 225/60/15 on the swastica rims. I dont have any problems with it and the calibration of the speedo is not too far off. You might consider 225/55/15 and not worry about the speedo. The 205/60 is a 123mm sidewall and the 225/55 is a 123.5mm sidewall as opposed to 135mm for the 225/60 tire. I went with the 60 series because I have an automatic and every little bit helps bring the rpm's down when it is crusing down the hiway at 75-80mph.

Guess I was also concerned about any problems with larger tires rubbing the wheelwells. Would that be a problem with 22560R?
