battery cables coming off the gun hooked up wrong?
timing light not blinking
Went to check thee timing on my 77 after vavle adj and the light stays on solid. WILL NOT BLINK!!!!!!!!!!!! Tried another timing light and did same thing!!!!!! Any thoughts on why this might happen?

Try hooking timing light to the other spark plug cables to see if you have same problem with all of them.
