How many miles does a Timing Chain last. I have a '76 280z that my dad had since '76, he gave it to me for my birthday, so I done want to screw up the engine at all. The last time I checked it had 197 thousand and something miles on it. He keeps perfect records on it but I have looked looked if the chain was ever done before. Any help would be a very big help.
