You should check your total timing, that's what maters. If you're non turboed run it up till you get a little spark knock, 35-40* total. Then back it off a few degrees this is optimum but may not get you through emissions.
timing and ignition
What are most of you running with your distibutor? I have mine set at 8 deg. BTDC. I am just curious as to what runs best. Also, my car misses at 3250rpm and at 3750 rpm after it has warmed up. Would this be my ignition unit? I have an 83zx if that helps any.
