It was about a mile away perfect condition.
They yanked out my Ham Radio...like they can use it.
Thanks people, you are great.
I'm back in action.

Hollywood Cops are the best.

Don't forget I want to see all South Floridian Z people at our first club meeting.
Tons of people will be there.

They took a multi band ham tranciever.

But I don't care, I have my car back thanks to HPD.
They dusted for prints, God I can't wait to see the scum that took it.

Broward County Z Car Club.

Well last week gathering was disregarded because massive rainstorms inundating all of us in South Florida with flooding in the streets. We will give it another try this Sunday the 28th at 6pm. The location will be the same as last week. Sunday’s weather is going to be very nice, cool winds and no rain. For those just hearing about this new Club you can pick up some info on our fledgling web page at

http://browardzcarclub.tripod.com/

The exact location will be on the north side of Sheridan St off 56th Avenue.
We will be parked about 100 feet east of Wendy’s in this shopping center.
The cars will be just inside the parking lot and can be seen from Sheridan St.
We need a working local club so try to show up.
Remember our metropolitan area is one of the largest in the country and we potentially could be a ars Club.

I was cleaning up my 83 when just for a second it was driving away.
I ran so hard behind it for blocks I very bad legs are cramped this morning.
I want to thank everyone for your support in keeping me from going totally crazy yesterday.

Madeline

It was an Icom 706.
.5 to 440
They took the head unit not the whole radio.
Bunch of bozos.
I have on tape the whole car theft on closed circuit video.
Cops took the tape and found loads of prints in and around the car.
When I get that surveillance tape back I'll put it up on a mpg.
They will keep the tape till after the trial, then I get it back...kinda sucks.
I'll order a new head section for my 706.
They left a Halon fire extinguisher worth about a good 500 bucks.
They have a positive match on the prints and I’m waiting for them to call me back about the video. I can’t wait to get my hands on that rat [email protected]
It was so cool to see cops doing things for you.
They called in the tracker car and found it 30 minutes after it got their.

Great to hear you got your Z back. I'd have a mental meltdown if mine got stolen. Is a ham radio really worth stealing a whole car for? I was born and raised in Lauderdale so I know what mental patients some of the people there can be ( I'm in NC now and we have a few loonies here; not to mention the goobers). Please send me the info on your club; you never know when my Z and I might be down to visit the family, and I might even know somebody.
By the way, my brother has an insane 510 that my grandfather built:NAPZ engine, turbo with boost knob in the drivers compartment, evan has Murrah on the cast headcover, major engine and suspension mods, it's really cool. Look him up, his name is Chris Murrah, he works at Shelton Land Rover. It's a car you have to see. My grandfather is a Datsun master!
Take care and hopefully I 'll see you in Ft. Laud. some time. Mine is a 71.
