Hey all,
Been away from the fray for a while, a little to much fun flying. I have finished a fairly through update of the Datsun Workshop. And Bryan Little recently changed the Datsun Garage link which I updated. If you know anyone who has either link on their page, let them know of the changes to both. I have e-mailed most of the pages I could find.
My 240 is currently in storage. Running, but not being driven. Still working on swaping a T5 and a R200 in. They are in, but not connected. Something about two sets of second gear syncros. They just can't handle the torque of the stroker... But it will be next christmas before that happens. In the mean time, I have a '00 BMW M Coupe as a daily driver. Rough life, jets and fast cars.

Gets me the following Java Script Execution error,

Error:
name: TypeError
message: Attempted to call non-function: has undefined value: 'getComponentVersion'

It happens each time I flip between pages.

Hmmm,
I shouldn't have Java on any of my pages. I wrote all the html myself,(not a program like Front Page), so they are as simple as can be.
The GetComponentInfo function returns information about the specified component. That last sentence is from several websites. A majority of the return info was relating to MAC's and mostly to Quicktime returning that error. I don't know if that is the case for you. I can tell you nowhere on my page will it specify what version it is, etc... b/c my pages are simply text with links.
There are a few possible situations. Since you are the only person to see that in 4+ years,(that have told me anyways) I would hate to cop out this way, but I imagine it is related to your software/computer incorrectly asking for info about java that does not exist. It should recognize that there is no java on my page and show you nothing. However, your computer spits it back out.
I found several links relating to getcomponentversion, but almost none that talked about troubleshooting. I included the microsoft link below, b/c it is the most general. Most of the others related to specific applications that would ask for that info. I wish I could offer more, but I really don't think it has anything to do with my pages.
